Action dialog controls

The controls for each Action dialog are displayed across the bottom of the dialog box.

Condition

The Condition button allows you to set conditions to control the display of specific actions - see Creating Different Element Types: Conditions .

Note: A Cross shows that no conditions have been set. A Tick indicates that the element has conditions attached.

Move or Edit modes

Text and Feature Text  dialogs contain  Position and Test options.

You can select either Move or Edit modes using the buttons at the bottom of the Text/Feature Text dialog.

Move mode allows you to use your mouse to change the position or size of the text box.  (This will change the  Position values shown on the Text tab of the Text dialog).

Edit mode allows you to use your mouse to select text or move the text insertion point within the text box.  Make sure that you have this mode selected when you are using the Font tab of the Text dialog.

OK

Selecting the OK  button  will close the dialog and re-display the Element dialog. The action defined will be placed in the Action list.

Cancel

Selecting the Cancel button  will discard any changes you have made and close the dialog.  You will be returned to the Element dialog - with no changes to the Action list displayed.
